Hey ladies! Today’s hair feature is with the beautiful Sumetra. I came across one of her amazing flat-twist pictorials a while back and I just had to find out more about how she consistently gets such amazing results.

Why Did You Go Natural?
Going natural is not a decision that should be taken lightly. I know you’re thinking “It’s just hair”. It’s more than that, it’s a lifestyle change. When you decide to go natural, there are changes that have to be made. Did you know that the foods you eat can impact the health of your hair? It’s true! From what you eat to what you drink can effect your hair. I didn’t know that.
I first went natural just to see how long I could go without a relaxer and what my hair would do. Then I started seeing that my hair was growing; not only growing, it was also thicker and healthier so I decided to BC (big chop)! I have been natural for 16 months now and I can honestly say it was the best decision I have made regarding my hair. It takes work to maintain nice healthy hair and it is a learning process but it’s well worth it!
Check out my 1 yr. journey!
